Excellent points Pogre, and while I know this statement is continuously parroted here:

You're both 50% responsible for any issues in the marriage, but she's 100% responsible for cheating on you.

I’m not so sure the BS is always truly "50% responsible" for the struggling marriage. Think about it. For one spouse to have the capacity to traumatize the other in the worst way possible, I think it’s more than possible THEY were the ones "causing issues" in the marriage.
